Expensive, yes. This Digital SLR offers all of the features a great camera should have for taking excellent photographs. It is considered by many to be entry-level, which is perfect for me, but it has all of the features that professionals should expect. Because it is a Nikon, it is compatible with many popular (and good) lenses and accessories; including wireless and wired remote shutter buttons, external flash, and special lenses & filters (macro, zoom, etc.).
Because it is so expensive, I shall have to wait to get this one, but it will be worth the wait.
