You are one step away from Wishlist nirvana. Just take a moment to look over this page to familiarize yourself with the features of this site.
Your Old Amazon Wish List™
If you have an Amazon Wish List, you won't be needing it any longer. But, it can be used to jump start your MetaWishlist! You can add all your items from your Amazon Wish List by going to the
Import Amazon Wishlist page and entering the email address that your Amazon Wish List is listed under and the new MetaWishlist List name that you'd
like the items to be imported into (which is optional).
Use the Bookmarklet
MetaWishlist.com uses a bookmarklet which can be used to add item from any site on the internet with a click of a button. Add the button to your browser by dragging the link below to your browser's Link toolbar.
If dragging doesn't work, then you can right-click on the link and click on "Add to Favorites..." (IE) or "Bookmark this Link" (FireFox). Then, as you're surfing the web and see an item you'd like to add, just click on the
button (or bookmark, whichever the case). If you need more help, see the Help Documentation.
Using Lists
It's not required to add your items to a list, but it's highly recommended. You create a new list when you add the first item to the list. You add an item to a list by using the List field on the Add/Edit Item Page. Advantages of a list include: ability to receive comments from other users on your list, total list value, and item price refreshing.
Magical Input Boxes
Around the site, you'll see input boxes like the one to the right. When you see an input box like this, it means that MetaWishlist.com is trying to make things easier for you by allowing you to select a value from
the list that will be added to the input box. For instance, when you use the bookmarklet to add an item to your MetaWishlist, it automatically pulls up all the images and prices
from the page you're looking at. So, all you need to do is click the drop-down arrow 
and select the appropriate image and price from the pre-filled lists.
